Vanda Coatings now offer a spray system to the wood working industry and companies involved in the preparation of wood surfaces.

Vanda Coatings recently completed a prestigious contract for Cardiff Theatrical Services (CTS), a subsidiary of the Welsh National Opera. 

CTS had won the contract to build the set for the Marriage of Figaro in the Barcelona Opera House. The production team wanted the set, which was made entirely from plywood, to have a shiny marble appearance. CTS decided that this 
finish could not be achieved "in house". 

Vanda Coatings were invited by CTS to see if they could offer a service that could achieve the finish they were looking for. In a tight turnaround Vanda Coatings produced the finish that CTS required by using a specialist three coat wood system and lacquering process. The set was sprayed on site and was shipped to Barcelona on time.
